Manchester City travelled to take on Norwich City, following their rather disappointing loss to Sunderland in their previous outing.
The Blue side of Manchester went into the game against Norwich with everything to prove, since the team was already sitting seven points behind Manchester United.
City knew that another slip up would make it rather impossible for them to go on and win the league this time around.
However, with Norwich not proving to be pushovers this season, this match was not looking to be a walk in the park for the Manchester based club.
The match kicked off with a bang for City who had managed to find the back of the net in just the 2nd minute. City broke on the counter attack and Aguero went on to cross the ball to Silva. The Spaniard then went on to slip a pass to Dzeko, who
slotted the ball into the back of the net with ease.
However, City seemed to be out there to prove a point as they found the back of the net once again in the 4th minute of the game. Aguero went on to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Toy-c35496 with the Norwich defence and went on to beat all his markers. With the keeper looking to gather
the ball from Aguero’s feet, he played a back pass to Dzeko, who had the simplest of tasks to slot the ball into the back of an empty net.
Norwich showed signs of life in the 14th minute, as they scored via a free kick. Pilkington went on to take the spot kick, and via the help of a decent sized deflection, the Norwich player managed to beat http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Hart-c18699 to get his side back in the game.
Before the half was over, City were reduced to jus ten men and Nasri was shown a red card for his reaction on a tackle from Tettey. Despite both the players looking to have a go at each other, it was the City player who was shown the red card for his reaction.
Following that incident, both the teams headed into the half time break looking to come out in the second half with everything to play for.
