Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 played host to Fulham at the Loftus Road, as the home side were looking to pick up their first win of the season.
QPR were sitting on the wrong end of the table, and the way things were going, they seemed to be destined for relegation at the end of the season.
The team had not won a game this season, but they were looking to change all of that against Fulham.
On the other hand, Fulham were well aware of QPR’s poor form and they were looking to secure at least one point from the game, as they felt that was an easily achievable target.
The first half played out to both the sides’ frustration as neither one of them managed to capitalise on the opportunities which they had created for themselves.
However, in the second half, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Adel-Taarabt-c3610 went on to be the difference maker as he scored the opening goal of the game for QPR.
In the 52nd minute, the midfielder found some space as he darted forward and took a pop at goal. His effort went on to deflect off of Hangeland, before it finally sailed into the back of the net again.
The Moroccan was at it again, as he scored his and QPR’s second goal of the game in the 68th minute. He picked up a loose ball in his own half, and then made a darting run forward once again. Upon arriving on the edge of the area, he went on to
take a shot with the outside of his foot, as he sent a brilliant finish into the back of the net, leaving the keeper with no chance of keeping the ball out.
Fulham looked to bounce back into the game, as Petric scored for the visiting side in the 88th minute. Petric took a pop at goal from distance, and his effort deflected in after looping over the keeper.
Despite that late goal, the match ended with QPR picking up their first win of the season, as they looked to finally show some signs of fight in them.
It is now up to the team to maintain their form, and try and start picking up wins on a far more regular basis.
