Premier League Match Report: Queens Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Rangers-c40314 vs Manchester United – Part 2
Following a tantalizing first half, both the teams took to the field to try and claim all three points in the second half.
In the 56th minute of the game, it was United who went on to double their lead in the game. Barton failed to play his pass to a QPR player and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Carrick-c25282 went on to intercept the ball. The midfielder then decided to side foot an effort towards
the goal and his shot sailed past the keeper and into the back of the net.
In the 62nd minute, Rooney played Welbeck on and the striker went on to sprint forward, before curling a ball goal wards. His effort was hit brilliantly, only to see the keeper tip it behind for a corner.
Just a minute later, United whipped the ball  into the QPR area and the ball somehow managed to avoid the goal, as it tumbled off the woodwork.
Jones went on to try and get his name on the score sheet, as the defender took a shot from the edge of the area. His shot beat everyone,  but ended up colliding with the woodwork in the end.
In the 74th minute, Taarbat went on to curl a delightful cross towards Campbell, who simply had to connect with the ball. However, the striker failed to get a solid touch on the ball and ended up sending it over the bar.
Following the miss, QPR caved in as United continued to mount the pressure on their opponents and just created chance after chance.
