Manchester United took on Premier League new comers, Southampton in the Premier League, as they looked to try and pick up three easy points from their game.
The match kicked off with United dominating the game early on, but to everyone’s surprise, It was Southampton who scored the first goal of the game.
In the 16th minute, Kagawa was caught in possession and the ball fell to Puncheon. The winger then whipped the ball into the box and Lambert arrived to head the ball into the back of the net.
United then continued to attack their opponents and in the 23rd minute of the game, the Red Devils had gone on to level things up in the match.

With the referee set to blow his whistle, United were awarded a corner in stoppage time. As the corner was whipped in, Van Persie went on to nod the ball into the goal, as he scored his third goal of the game.
The goal also saw the Red Devils take all three points from the match, as they turned the game around to win by three goals to two.
