The second half of the game kicked off with a bang, as Stoke looked to take the game to their opponents from the very first minute of the restart.
In the 58th minute, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Etherington-c12941 used his pace to dash down the left flank, before cutting a ball back into play. The ball then fell to Walters, who played it on to Whelan. Whelan then went on to strike the ball goalwards, but saw his effort take
a massive deflection before landing in the back of the net.
In the 72nd minute of the game, Stoke went on to go up by three goals to nil, as they found the back of the net once again.
A ball was whipped forward into the Blackburn area and with the visiting defenders failing to defend the ball, Crouch went on to slide the ball into the back of the net, as he ensured the home side picking up all three points from the game.
As the second half progressed, Stoke seemed to take their foot off the gas, as they allowed Blackburn to knock the ball between themselves. However, this proved costly for Stoke, as it allowed Blackburn to score a consolation goal in the game.
In the 86th minute, Rochina went on to tap the ball ahead of himself, before whipping a left footed strike into the back of the net, as he left the keeper with no chance of stopping the ball from landing in the back of the net.
Soon after, the referee blew his whistle to signal the end of the game, which saw Stoke claim all three points, while Blackburn went on to slip some more and headed to the bottom of the Premier League table.
