Premier League Match Report: Tottenham Hotspur 0-0 vs. Manchester United
Manchester United managed to hang on with 10 men against Tottenham Hotspur in their English Premier League encounter, as the game ended 0-0 and United went back to top of the table while maintaining their unbeaten record in the
league.
There were number of questions raised when United right-back Rafael da Silva was sent off for a foul which clearly looked unintentional. Manchester United are normally not a team that would be happy with a draw, but considering
the stern resistance of the Spurs and with them playing the last 16 minutes with 10 men, it turned out to be a decent result. It also meant that United’s problems away from home this season have not ended; this was their 8th draw in 10 games so
far.
Wayne Rooney, who made his way back in the team after an ankle injury, looked a shadow of his former self and was not at all able to impose himself on the game. Tottenham did have number of chances of get all 3 points but Nemanja
Vidic in defence was an absolute monster and dominated the Spurs attack.

Moments later, Rooney had another chance but Gomes did well to palm it over the bar.

However, there was no typical last-minute drama for Manchester United, and in the final minutes it was clear that Manchester United had settled for a draw and went home happy to be back at the top of the table.
