West Bromwich Albion took on Arsenal in the Premier League, in a game that the Gunners needed to win, to ensure their automatic qualification to the Champions League for the coming season.
Going into the game, Arsenal were sitting in the third spot, with Tottenham and Newcastle trailing the team. Had the Gunners suffered any slip ups, they would have risked finishing outside the top four. As a result, the game was a must win for the Gunners.
At the same time, this was the last game that Roy Hodgson was going to be managing West Brom in and the manager hoped to end his reign on a high.
The match kicked off with a bang for Arsenal, as they managed to score in just the 4th minute of the game.
The ball rolled to the edge of the West Brom box and Fulop mistimed grabbing the ball. As a result, the ball went out of his reach and Benayoun went on to zip past him and gather the ball. He then took another few steps, before he knocked the ball into the back of the net to score one of the easiest goals that he would ever score.
Despite the Gunners taking the lead, they soon let it slip from their hands.
Following some terrible defending in the 12th minute, Morrison played Shane Long with a brilliant through ball, which the striker went on to smash into the back of the net, past Szczesny.
Three minutes later, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 went on to concede another goal. In the 15th minute, Morrison chipped the ball forward and Dorrans knocked the ball past the defender, before sending a volley past the keeper and into the back of the net.

Soon after the first half came to an end, with both the teams being level at two all.
