Last season’s Premier League champions, Chelsea went on to take on West Bromwich Albion away from home, as they looked to maintain the pressure on the top of the table.
Having been playing unexceptionally well in recent weeks, just about everyone felt that the Blues would simply walk through the game.
However, with West Brom also looking to be highly impressive in recent weeks, there was an outside chance that something might end up working in the favour of the West Brom side.
The match kicked off with Chelsea going close in the 7th minute, but despite that early effort, it was West Brom who scored the opening goal of the game.
In the 10th minute of the game, Morrision went on cross a killer cross into the area from the left. The weight and height of the ball were just right, as Long leaped up and headed the ball downwards. The ball then bounced up and crashed into the
roof of the net, having beaten Cech.
Before the half ended, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 went on to level things up, as they felt that they weren’t going to be giving away any easy points.
Hazard went on to play a pass to Azpilicueta, as he went on to maintain his darting run forward. The full back then crossed the ball to the far post, as Hazard met it with his head, and nodded the ball into the net from close range in the 39th
minute.
The second half saw Chelsea come out with a bang once again, but just like the first half, it was West Brom who ended up scoring.
Shane Long went on to cross the ball into the box, and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Peter-Odemwingie-c29794 went on to meet the flight of the ball, as he flicked a deft effort into the back of the net, having beaten Cech.
From then on, Chelsea looked to get back in the game, but this led to West Brom getting a few chances to score on the counter.
Nonetheless, neither side managed to score another goal in the game, and West Brom went on to pick up a very surprising win over Chelsea in the game.
