Fulham took on Everton in the Premier League, as both the teams were looking to make a claim for a spot in the top six this season.
Both the teams seemed to be doing rather well going into the game, which is why it was very hard to predict just what might happen in the match once things got underway.
The game didn’t take long to heat up, as the first goal of the match came in just the 7th minute. Bryan Ruiz bent in a brilliant free kick which hit the post and then collided with Howard as it made its way into the back of the net.
As a result of that goal/own goal, Fulham led by one goal to nil early on in the game.
Following that goal, the match settled down to a great extent, and it wasn’t until the second half when the next goal of the game was scored.
In the 55th minute of the match, Mirallas made a fine run down the pitch before he played the ball to Fellaini. The midfielder then smashed an unstoppable effort into the top of the net, as he gave Everton the equalizing goal in the game.
Soon after, it was Fellaini once again who helped Everton score another goal. In the 71st minute of the game, the midfielder went on to control a high ball, before he smashed another brilliant effort into the back of the net.
Thanks to the Fellaini double, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019 now led in a game that they were losing early on.
As the game headed into the last few minutes of regulation time, it seemed like Everton had snuck the win in the match.
However, that was not meant to be as Fulham scored a very late goal in the 90th minute. Riether went on to send a brilliant cross into the box which was missed by Berbatov. Despite the miss from the Bulgarian, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steve-Sidwell-c34181 managed to maintain
his composure as he snuck a fine shot in, which found its way into the back of the net.
Due to that goal, the match ended in a two all draw between both the teams.
