Manchester City hosted Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium, as the Blue side of Manchester looked to close the gap on the top of the Premier League of the table.
The match saw Manchester City dominate early on in the game, but on occasion Villa went on to attack City’s goal as well.
However, despite the threat shown by both the teams, it wasn’t until the 42nd minute, that the first goal of the game was scored.

City were then awarded another penalty due to another handball once again. Just like the previous penalty, this one also looked to be a poor decision.
In the 65th minute, Tevez went on to convert with ease from the spot, as he sent the keeper the wrong way, before dispatching his spot kick.
Then a minute later, Aguero went on to score for City once again. The striker somehow managed to shoot the ball through the keeper, as he helped Manchester City score their fourth goal of the game.
Manchester City then went on to kill the game completely in the 73rd minute, as the scored their fifth goal of the game.

As a result of that goal, City went on to win the game by five goals to nil.
