Premier League Match report: Norwich City vs West Bromwich Albion – Part 2
The second half saw Norwich come out with a bang and take the game to West Brom. The home side finally looked to try and get the better of their opponents and started producing some brilliant moments of magic.
In the 49th minute of the game, Bennett whipped in a killer cross, which Holt tired to reach. However, Reid managed to get to the ball just a second before the Norwich player and headed the ball to safety and to deny his team from losing their
one goal lead.
In the 57th minute, Johnson went on to unleash a pile driver from range. His effort seemed to be destined for the goal, but managed to swerve just over the bar.
In the 76th minute, Morison went on to take out Reid in the area and as a result, West Brom were awarded a penalty.
Odemwingie, the goal scorer stepped up to take the spot kick but failed to beat the keeper, who went on to produce a fine save to keep his side in the game and to keep Norwich’s hopes up of getting something out of the match.
In the 87th minute of the match Tierney went on to whip in a brilliant cross, which was met by Morison. However Morison couldn’t keep his effort on target and sent the ball behind for a goal kick.
Soon after, the game came to an end and following a number of missed opportunities by Norwich, West Brom went on to pick up all three points from the game, all thanks to a very early goal scored by Odemwingie.
