English Premier League club, Arsenal have decided not to appeal against the red card issued to their defender, Bacray Sagna. The right-back was given a straight red in the match against Manchester City in the 0-0 draw. The French player was given his marching

Arsene Wenger, the manager of Arsenal, said that he has been thinking about the incident and there is no doubt that it was a clear red card. He added that there is no point in appealing for the card when you know it will not come to anything. Wenger went
on to say that his player clearly lost his temper and admitted that Sagna could have done better in that situation. While Manchester City have confirmed that they would appeal against the Red Card given to Zabaleta following the same incident.
Sagna would not be available for the FA cup tie against Leeds on the weekend, and would also miss the Carling Cup semi final, first leg, against Ipswich. Followed by that would be Arsenal’s game against West Ham. Emmanuel Eboue is likely to be Sagna’s replacement
for these matches.
In other Premier League news, Aston Villa has confirmed that they have acquired the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kyle-Walker-c21566 from Tottenham. The defender will be at Villa till the end of the season in May.
Walker, who is also an under 21 international for England, started training at Bodymoor Heath and was later cleared medically to officially complete the loan move.
