Premier League News: Arsene Wenger express disappointment with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 season
Arsenal’s manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to admit to be highly disappointed with the Gunner’s season, this time around. After it appearing like the Gunners might just be able to achieve top honours, the team managed to stumble and have now managed to
finish in the fourth spot in the league.
The manager however finally lost it; when the Gunners went on to draw their last game of the season, away to Fulham. The Cottagers took the lead in the game, on two occasions, but eventually saw http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873, get the Gunners back in
the game and settle for a solitary point at the end of the day.
At the same time, while Arsenal were stumbling at the Craven Cottage, Manchester City went on to beat Bolton Wanderers and in doing so, the Citizens secured the third spot in the league, while Arsenal finished fourth.
When talking about the disappointing season that he has had with Arsenal, Wenger is quoted to have said:  “In the end, we finished in what is a disappointing fourth place because three weeks ago we were in a position to win the league.
"Of course, we didn’t lose our top three place today, we lost it last week. I think we are frustrated and disappointed but as well we don’t need to go overboard and think that our team is not good. We just have to rectify the areas we need to improve.”
The manager then decided to take almost all the blame for the team’s poor performances and then went on to add: “I think I am responsible for the result and I am very disappointed and I stand up for that. The players had an outstanding attitude and we have
accumulated disappointments that had a big impact on the morale of the team.”
It is hard not to agree with Wenger and what he has to say about the Gunners performances this season. The team has had a rollercoaster of a season, with them looking to win it all at one point, only to drop down and settle for nothing in the end.
However, with Wenger admitting to the prime reason being his fault, he might finally end up brining some changes around the Emirates. This could possibly even mean the addition of some world class talents to the current Gunners roster.
All in all, it feels like a good thing for Arsenal to finish on such a low, since this way, they might finally try and patch things up for good.
