Premier League News: Daniel Sturridge claims that he might quit Chelsea to pursue first team football
Chelsea forward, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Sturridge-c10076 has gone to admit to the fact that he might have to walk out of the Stamford Bridge in order to save his career.
The player who is currently on loan at Bolton Wanderers, is set to return to Chelsea within the next two weeks, but feels that he would only be open to returning should he be presented with more first team options.
The Twenty one year old English forward made the move to Bolton on loan in January, after spending almost the entire first-half of the season on the bench for the Blues. Nonetheless, with Fernando Torres also having joined Chelsea in January, the chances
of Sturridge actually starting for the Blues seem to be pretty scarce at the moment.
Sturridge went on to express his love for the club, but stated that if his playing time was going to be compromised at the club, he would have to leave.
The player is reported to have said: “I want to play first-team football regularly for Chelsea but if the chances don’t come at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 then I will have to try and look elsewhere”
“I do want to play regularly here but for me next season it’s very important to play first-team football.
“I http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Love-c22466 the club; I’ve been here now for a year-and-a-half and been on loan with Bolton. I don’t want to say that I’m going to leave the club."
The player then went on to add that he would relish the opportunity to play alongside Torres and when talking about the possibility of playing alongside him, went on to add: "He's a great player, and I think myself and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-c13609 could be a great partnership"
From a neutral point of view, it seems like Sturridge is making the best choice possible, at the moment. The player has had a brilliant run in with Bolton in the eleven games he has played for them and he has proven that he deserves to play from the very
first minute of every game. However, should he move back to Chelsea, then the chances of him doing that are going to be rather limited. This is because the team has the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707, all of whom are currently regarded
to be players belonging to a much higher decree then Sturridge.
Nonetheless, should the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 national be put on the market, Bolton would pounce at the opportunity to bring him back to the Reebok Stadium.
