Premier League News: Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez does not want to be like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lionel-Messi-c22296
Manchester United’s Mexican striking sensation, Javier Hernandez has gone on to state that he does not wish to be like Lionel Messi. The player then went on to add, that he was ready to sweat to death in his shirt, if that was what it took to get the best
possible results for his team.
Despite only being in his first season with United, the striker has gone on to win the hearts of football fans, all over the world. In his debut season, the strike went on to score a highly impressive twenty goals and this has seen his win a lot of appreciation
all over the world, even from the likes of Lionel Messi and Pep Guardiola.
However, despite Messi being the best player in the world at the moment, when the Argentine was asked if he wished to follow in the footsteps of the Argentine, he responded by stating: "No. I am a player of this great team. I don't aspire to be like Messi.
I'm just a simple footballer."
The player then went on to state that he did not have an obsession for scoring goals, but in fact he wished to give his all, every time he took to the field.
Hernandez then went on to state: "What obsesses me is sweating this shirt to death, and I will never stop running"
"I'm not obsessed with goals. The goals are the result of the work of the whole team. The forwards only have the good fortune to score them. In a team like ours, even Edwin [van der Sar] can claim the goals."
Hernandez, without a doubt has proven to be the best buy of the season. The forward was signed from Chivas, in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mexico-c2956 and seemed to be a rather unknown, when he joined the Red Devils.
Nonetheless, no one can claim for him to be an unknown any longer. In fact, Hernandez’s impact has been so great on United, that he has forced the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254 to be benched ahead of him and that just says a lot about the striker.
In United’s upcoming game with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, in the UEFA Champions League final, all eyes will be on the forward. This is because his unorthodox runs and sharp reflexes, could prove to be the death of the Catalan giants.
Nonetheless, should Hernandez help United secure the Champions League trophy, his name would go down in United folklore, no questions asked.
