Premier League News: Roberto Mancini dedicates Manchester City’s success to loyal supporters
Manchester City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 has gone on to dedicate his side’s success, to the loyalty and support that the fans have shown the club, throughout the years.
Going into the season, City had not managed to lift any silverware for the last thirty five years. However, that curse was broken when City went on to beat Stoke City in the finals of the FA Cup. At the same time, the team managed to finish in the third
spot in the league, which means that they are now destined to head directly into the group stages of the UEFA Champions League, next season.
When talking to the supporters during City’s end of season celebrations, Mancini went on to state: "All the credit for what we have achieved this season has to go to the players who worked so hard for us to win what we did.

"But I also want to give credit to the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Royal-95-c40387 Family of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mansour and our chairman, Khaldoon al Mubarak. But what this team has done is dedicated to our fans, who have suffered for so long but can now start to dream about a better future."
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184, who happens to be Manchester City’s player of the year, went on to state that this win was just a sign of what was to come for the team in the future and the player is quoted to have said: "It's been a fantastic historic day. This club has
worked for this for so long and we're just looking forward to doing more of it."
Dedicating the win to the club’s fans, if anything, shows just how important the clubs supporters are to the team. The City fans, for the last thirty five years have gone on to cheer their team on, despite not getting anything in return, however now that
the team managed to finally achieve them, if anything is going to give the supporters an even better cause to cheer on louder, longer and harder at the Eastlands.
Nonetheless, that being said, the fact that City managed to end the season level on points with second place http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and with an FA Cup trophy to add to their cabinet, just goes to show how far the team has come over the last couple of years. It was not
long ago, when everyone assumed that the blue side of Manchester was rather worthless, but, all of that seems to have changed for good and things can only get better for the team from here on out.
