Premier League News: Turkey manager Guus Hiddink doesn’t rule out move to Chelsea
Current http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, has refused to rule out a move back to the Stamford Bridge as part of being permanent manager for the team. The manager has been a long term link with the managerial spot at the Stamford Bridge and following the termination of Carlo Ancelotti’s services at the club, the manager’s latest comments have gone on to add some fuel to the fire, over who is going to be the Blues manager this coming season.
Hiddink has not had a permanent role at a club since 2006, when he was employed by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/PSV-c40281 Eindhoven. However, the manager’s agent, Cees van Nieuwenhuizen has still refused to rule out the possibility of a move for the Dutchman to London.
His agent is reported to have said:"I don't know that you can say that”
"He is focusing on his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 and he likes what he is doing.”
However, Hiddink seems to be stuck in a rather tricky spot with Turkey as, due to his commitment with the national team, the earliest the manager would be available by, would be October.
Van Nieuwenhuizen, when talking about the manager’s future as Chelsea manager, is reported to have said: "He said in his column in De Telegraaf [the Dutch newspaper] that as long as he is in the race for the European Championship with Turkey, he would continue to focus on that”
"Once that is finished, he will start thinking about his future.
"I think that Chelsea has to make a decision in the shorter term rather than waiting until November."
At the moment, the other possible managers, who are being lined up as potential targets to come into the club and take over for the manager include, Porto manager, Andre Villas-Boas and Ajax manager, Marco van Basten.
Nonetheless, from the looks of things, Chelsea could try and make a move for Hiddink, if he really is their prime target. The manager could try and bring in another caretaker for the opening three months of the Premier League and just when things start to heat up, they could have Hiddink arrive and take over the reins at the club.
However, that being said, it is still unclear as to if Hiddink really wants to make a return to Chelsea. Considering the fact that managers are shown little to no respect at the club, the manager might just end up opting not to make a move to London after all.
