Premier League Player Ratings: http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 vs Manchester City – Manchester City
Manchester City travelled to the Stamford Bridge to take on Manchester City in a game, that they hoped would help them extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
However, despite scoring early on, the City side just couldn’t keep up with the pace that Chelsea set in the second half of the game and ended up losing by two goals to one.
As a result, the team’s lead at the top has been cut down to just two points for the time being.
Here is a look at how the City players played during the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Hart-c18699: Couldn’t do much to keep both the goals out and despite conceding two goals, didn’t seem to be overworked in the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184: Could have easily seen a red card in the game, as he made a number of rash challenges, as he seemed to be unusually frustrated in the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pablo-Zabaleta-c29022: Had a weird game, as he seemed brilliant and useless at the same time on occasions.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joleon-Lescott-c18941: The defender had a disappointing night and it seemed to get worse for him as he conceded the penalty by handling the ball in his own area.
Gael Clichy: Easily the worst player on the pitch. He couldn’t keep up with Sturridge and was turned inside out, time and time again. His red card also proved to be one of the prime reasons for City failing to fight back in the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/James-Milner-c17706: The midfielder played in the middle and on the wings, however, he still couldn’t provide much for his side.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ramires-c30523 and his pace in the second half.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601: Had one if his poorer games for City, but was crucial in helping his side opening the first goal of the game, as his pass found Aguero and helped him set up Balotelli for the game.
Yaya Toure: Was good while going forward, but failed to track back on a number of occasions. Tried to stomp on Mata during the game and is bound to face some sort of actions in the near future.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero: The forward was full of energy and life and topped his night off with a brilliant assist. However, he could have easily scored a goal, if he got the right service in the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937: Scored a good goal, proved to be trouble early on. However, his threat was short-lived.
