Chelsea played host to Norwich City at the Stamford Bridge. After scoring an early goal, the Blues were given a run for their money by the new boys in the league, as they looked to prove a point during the game. However, despite all their efforts, it was
Chelsea who came out on top in the end as the final score read three goals to one, in the home sides favour.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Henrique-c16069 Hilario: Hilario was quite decent during the game and seemed to be doing just fine, till he ran off his line, exposing the goal and letting Norwich score in the process.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ashley-Cole-c6809: Was quite brilliant during the game. His surging run forwards were brilliant and his ability to get back and defend was exceptionally good. All in all, he was outstanding during the game.

http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Branislav-Ivanovic-c7994: Didn’t seem to be very comfortable during the game. Was nervous and made a few mistakes every now and then.
Jose Bosingwa: Scored the opening goal and seemed to be in a class of his own during the game. Was lively and rampant throughout the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Frank-Lampard-c14097: It seems like Lampard’s age is finally catching up with him. He wasn’t at his usual best and didn’t really control the flow of the game with his passing. However, he did score the penalty to give his side the lead.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/John-Obi-Mikel-c18882: Kept everything to the point. Made tackles, played passes and got on with the game.

http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Florent-Malouda-c13838: Put in a good performance, was quick and made good performances during the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fernando-Torres-c13707: Seemed fairly useless once again. Tried his best, but his best just didn’t seem to cut it.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Didier-Drogba-c11044: The striker was brilliant early on, but a collision with the Norwich keeper saw him get taken out of the game, as he got knocked out for nearly thirty minutes.

Juan Mata: Seems to be a brilliant buy already. Scored a goal and seemed to be looking to do so much more during the game.
