Premier League Player Ratings: Chelsea vs Norwich City – Norwich
Norwich travelled to the Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea, in what was going to be a real test for the newly promoted team. After conceding an early goal Norwich fought their way back into the game and looked to prove that they were no pushovers. However,
once Chelsea won a penalty late in the second half, there was nothing Norwich could do, to prevent the Blues from securing all three points in the game.

Zak Whitbread: Didn’t get much of an opportunity to make a name for himself, as he was taken off during the first half due to a tactical change.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ritchie-De-Laet-c31183: Seemed pretty decent during the game. Managed to stay with the Chelsea attackers for the most part, but his lack of pace was a major drawback.
Leon Barnett: Managed to play brilliantly during the game. His tackling was superb and his ability to muscle off the Chelsea attackers was exceptional to watch. Should he keep this up, a bigger club is going to come knocking for his signature.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kyle-Naughton-c21563: Didn’t make many surging runs forward, as he opted to hang back and defend, instead of helping out with the attack. However, this decision proved to be a brilliant one in the end.

Bradley Johnson: Was quite good during the game and even managed to overpower Lampard and Mikel in the middle of the park. However, his long range efforts failed to really test the Chelsea keeper.
Andrew Crofts: Didn’t make much of a contribution to his team’s performance as he remained missing for the most part.
Marc Tierney: Went on to produce a decent performance overall. However, he could have performed slightly better to get the edge on his opponents.
Christopher Martin: Worked well upfront with Holt, as the two of them formed a brilliant partnership. However, he should have scored, given he had a number of good chances to find the back of the net.
Grant Holt: Was exceptionally good upfront. Made surging runs, controlled the ball well and slipped in behind the Chelsea defence on a number of occasions. He is more than likely to impress in the coming weeks as well.
