Premier League Player Ratings: Liverpool 1 vs 1 Manchester City – Liverpool
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 played host to Manchester City in the Premier League, in a game that both the teams were desperate to win.
Despite Liverpool playing rather well in the game, they just couldn’t manage to find a way past http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Hart-c18699, who managed to keep the Reds at bay throughout the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pepe-Reina-c29672: The Reds keeper was in top form during the game and along with Joe Hart, displayed some brilliant saves during the game. His positioning and ability to control the defensive line were also brilliant, as he looked to be back to his best once again.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786, the defender went on to maintain that form, as he  looked to cause problems for City, throughout the game. He was brilliant in the defensive aspect of his game and was outstanding every time he
got forward.
Jose Enrique: The Spanish full back had a solid game, as he used his pace to constantly cause problems for the City players. He got forward often and managed to track back to defend his half of the pitch as well.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Daniel-Agger-c9884: The defender had a brilliant game for Liverpool. His performance was top notch and his ability to read the game was outstanding. He made some crucial interceptions and won his fair share of aerial battles during the course of the game.
Martin Skrtel: The defender was almost as good as Agger on the night. His dedication to the game was outstanding and his ability to make interceptions and deny City beautiful chances was also remarkable. He could have scored the winning goal for his side,
but send a beautiful chance begging.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jordan-Henderson-c19102: His performance if anything was anonymous. He was a mere shadow on the pitch and failed to make any notable contribution during the course of the game. In fact, it was hard to believe that he was a part of the team for as long as he was.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Stewart-Downing-c34221: The winger had a decent game. His pace was lacking, but he managed to send in some brilliant crosses during the game.  He almost scored via a volley, but was foiled by Hart in the end.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lucas-c22528: Had a very impressive game. His went on to break down a number of City attacks and played some good passes during the game.
Charlie Adam: Was outstanding during the game. Could have scored on a number of occasions, but failed to find a way past Hart.
Luis Suarez: Showed creativity and class in front of the goal. Was easily the brightest striker on the pitch.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dirk-Kuyt-c11348: Worked hard as he always does, but really didn’t do much more than that.
