Premier League Player Ratings: Liverpool 1 vs 1 Manchester City – Manchester City
Manchester City travelled to Anfield to take on Liverpool in a game that was building up to be one of the most highly contested games of the Premier League season. City had been performing rather well throughout the season, however, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 had managed
to pick their form up in recent weeks and were looking to build on the form that they had going for them.
Despite all of Liverpool’s best efforts, they couldn’t get anything more than one point from the game, as http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Joe-Hart-c18699 kept his side in the game during the match via some brilliant saves.
Joe Hart: The keeper was outstanding during the game, to say the least. His reactions were at an all time high and he denied Liverpool some glorious chances during the game. All in all, it was Hart who kept his side in the game for as long as he did.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Micah-Richards-c25259: The defender asserted his power and pace on the game, but his efforts just weren’t enough this time around, as he couldn’t help his side keep a clean sheet or pick up all three points.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vincent-Kompany-c36184: Despite having scored the goal in the game, he just didn’t seem to be at his best as he was slipping all over the place and was constantly made to look like an amateur.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 international scored an own goal in the game, which helped Liverpool take one point from the game. Apart from that, he made no notable contributions and was tossed around all over the place.
Gael Clichy: The French fullback had a solid game and made short work of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dirk-Kuyt-c11348. His performance was top notch and had the rest of the defence performed as well as he did, they could have easily taken more points from the game.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/James-Milner-c17706: Produced a solid performance in the middle of the pitch, but couldn’t create a killer pass to win the game for his team.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Barry-c14423: The midfielder was decent, but nothing more than that. Had no influence on the game and was a mere spectator for the most part.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360: Was absolutely useless during the match. Made no contribution and was shockingly poor.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Silva-c10601: His performance was well under his normal standards. He was all over the place, but couldn’t really put his foot through anything on the night.
Yaya Toure: Was lively early on, but seemed to disappear as the game progressed.
Kun Aguero: Threatening early on, but like the rest of the City squad, became invisible later on.
