Premier League Player Ratings – Manchester City vs Swansea City – Swansea City
Swansea City were given the task of taking on Manchester City, in their first game following promotion from the Championship. The team that was hailed as the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 of the Championship went on to dominate possession early on in the game and looked to
have made a promising start in the first half. However, in the second half, their world seemed to fall apart as City ran the show and put four goals past them.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michel-Vorm-c25482: The Swansea keeper had a brilliant game. Despite the score line not doing the keeper any favours, he actually went on to make a number of brilliant saves. Had the keeper not been as sharp as he was in the game, City would have easily scored
another two or three goals.
Ashley Williams: Showed a promising start to life in the Premier League. He was very to the point and decent for the most part, but couldn’t do anything to stop City from running riot.
Steven Caulker: Showed his ability by reading the opposing teams plays and making interceptions. However, he was caught out of position on a number of occasions and couldn’t do much to contain Aguero.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Tate: The captain went on to produce a fine display during the game. He made a number of crucial tackles and tried to lead his team from the back. However, he did seem to suffer a lot of problems when he was in one on one situations with the City striker
force.
Angel Rangel: He was decent to say the most. Didn’t make any outstanding contributions to the game, but did his http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684, just like he was instructed to.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kemy-Agustien-c20557: The midfielder played a good game of football. Conducted play through the middle early on, but failed to maintain his level of performances in the second half. However, made a promising start and is bound to grow from here on.
Leon Britton: Was one of the most impressive players early on. However, as the game progressed, he seemed to go missing and when City started to take control, he had to be replaced altogether.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scott-Sinclair-c32675: Showed just what all the hype was about, as he went on display some fine dribbling during the game. Unfortunately, he went up against Richards on a day when he was in top form and hence he couldn’t do much.
Nathan Dyer: Had a really poor game and failed to impress, or do anything notable during the game.
Stephen Dobbie: Couldn’t do much to break free of the City marking. However, he took a long ranged pop at goal, which could have given Hart problems, if it was hit any better.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Danny-c10193 Graham: Was the workhorse up front for the team. However, his ability, along with his teammates let him down in the end.
