Premier League Preview: West Ham United vs. Manchester City
West Ham United preparing themselves to take on the high flying Manchester City, in a game that is guaranteed to be loaded with goals.
West Ham will be expecting Jonathan Spector to fill in the hole in midfield, due to the fact that both Valon Behrami and Mark Noble are set to miss the game because of a hip injury and appendicitis receptively. At the same time, long term
injury problems are set to cause Manuel da Costa and Thomas Hitzelsperger to miss out the match as well.
Roberto Mancini will be forced to make some changes to his starting eleven, as Carlo Tevez, who happens to be the team's leading goal scorer having scored ten goals so far this season is set to miss the return to his former club. The reason
is the one match ban he is set to serve. Aleksandar Kolarov is also set to miss the game due to suspension, as the player was shown a red card in the team's victory against Bolton this past weekend. However there is some good news for City as it appears that
Kolo Toure might be available for the game after recovering from his calf injury.
Almost every expert is tipping Manchester City to pick up the three easy points in the game. This is due to the fact that West Ham are currently the worst team in the League with careless and uncoordinated plays on field. The team will
however be looking to Scott Parker to try and hold things together in the middle of the pitch so that they could possibly pick up the unlikely point from the game, but the chances of one man containing City are slim to none. On the other hand Mario Balotelli
will be looking to unleash on West Ham, with Tevez missing the game, just so he can prove his worth to the team and the fans.
All in all, the game is almost certain to provide us with a number of goals and some exciting plays to watch.
