Premier League Preview: Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Tottenham Hotspur
Wolverhampton Wanderers are set to take on Tottenham Hotspur are the Molineux stadium, in what is going to be both the teams fourth game of the season in the English Premier League.
Had this game taken place last season, Tottenham would have been hailed as the all out favourites to win the game. However, this time around Wolves are sitting in the 5th spot on the Premier League table, while Tottenham are dead bottom in the
league.
As a result, this game has become close to impossible to call, but surprisingly some experts are tipping Wolves to come out on top in the game.
Tottenham Hotspur are looking to utilize both their new signings, as manager Harry Redknapp has gone on to confirm that both Scott Parker and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Steven-Pienaar-c34208, Sandro, William
Gallas are all going to be missing out on the game.
It is believed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Wolves-c40952 are going to be fielding the same team that they have been opting to use for the last three Premier League games. However, in order to do that, Matt Jarvis will have to go through a late fitness test to ensure that he is fit enough
to participate in the game. At the same time, every single Wolves player who went away on international duty has returned un harmed and hence the team is operating at nearly full potential. Dave Edwards and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake are still on the recovery table
and are not going to be participating in the game.
Mick McCarthy has gone on to admit that one of the players to watch out for in the game is http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gareth-Bale-c14422. However, having said that, the manager has also admitted that he will not be focusing all of his tactics on marking just the player, as he is looking
for the team to work as a unit and for them to produce their ‘A’ game.
McCarthy is also hoping that the speculation regarding Luka Modric’s future will be able to help get his team get the edge over their opponents, considering some of the players just won’t be able to keep their head in the game.
When talking about Modric, McCarthy is quoted to have said: "I don't know how it affects players but it affects the club. Certainly it has to affect you as a manager. I've said all along with my players, if someone comes along and says 'gaffer I don't want
to play for you any more, someone's bid a zillion pounds for me', it's going to be hard to keep him."
Harry Redknapp has been rather quite about his upcoming game and apart from talking about using his new signings, the manager really hasn’t made much of a contribution to the pre match hype. Instead, Redknapp has been focusing his attention on trying to
convince http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Beckham-c10432 to join the Spurs.
