A Robert Huth goal on the stroke of half time has given Stoke City a deserved lead against Birmingham City at the Britannia Stadium.
German defender Huth – sporting a fetching moustache in aid of the ‘Movember’ charity appeal – fired home from 12 yards out after a Ricardo Fuller shot had been blocked.
Huth almost scored again shortly afterwards, while Ben Foster saved well from a fierce Rory Delap strike.
Stoke have been by far and away the better side, with giant forward Kenwyne Jones causing the visitors all manner of problems.
