Premier League Team of the Week – Week 6 – Part 1
Following the conclusion of the sixth week of matches in the Premier League, a number of players stood out for their teams, as they helped their sides pick up some very crucial points during the games.
The weekend saw the likes of Chelsea, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 all pick up three points from their games, while Manchester United suffered their first ever draw against Stoke City.
Here is a look at the team of the week, following a 4-4-2 formation.
Goal keeper:
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-de-Gea-c10463: The Manchester United shot stopper has been put under a lot of scrutiny, following his move from Altetico Madrid. Many labelled the keeper as being useless, while some claimed that he was a little too young to have made the move to Manchester
United.
However, this past weekend, the keeper went on to produce some brilliant saves and had he not been in top form, the instead of drawing their game against Stoke, United could have suffered their first defeat of the season.
Defenders:

The defender was quite brilliant against United, as he matched the Red Devils attack with his brilliant interceptions and intellect.
His tackling, clearing and passing were all top notch and his performances helped Stoke contain United the way that they did.

The defender was powerful, commanding and seemed to finally be back to his best. His tackling was to the point and he had a very no nonsense attitude about his game during the match.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Aguero from finding the back
