Premier League Update: Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger admits that he might spend in the summer
Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger has gone on to reveal that the club has already identified it’s potential summer transfer targets and that the team are willing to spend big, in order to secure the transfers of those players.
After falling short in their attempt to land any form of silverware for the sixth year in a row, many experts labelled http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429’s lack of experience to be the prime factor, for this poor run. As a result, it now seems like Wenger has finally seen the light
and is going to be willing to spend big.
The team have been linked with moves for both, Bolton Wanderers defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Gary-Cahill-c14439 and West Ham United’s prolific midfielder, Scott Parker.
The manager seems to be well aware of the fact that English players might just be the answer to the Gunners problems and the manager is reported to have said:"I like English players"
"They are good, but I have said the inflation for them is always very high.

"It is always a lot of money, but if we have to spend we will do it, if we are really convinced.

"On one player we can afford it, but it depends what will happen."

The manager then went on to admit that the team had already formulated lists of possible player to bring in and went on to add: "We have lists - number one, two, three - and we will try to achieve them.

"Unfortunately it does not always go like planned. It is very difficult to make things happen.

"We will work on strengthening the team. We are definitely out on the market - that is for sure."
From the looks of things and from Wenger’s comments, it seems like perhaps the manager is finally ready to wave some of the club’s cash around in order to achieve success. The Gunners have almost always played some of the best, most attractive football around,
but for a team to not win anything for six years, is rather disappointing.
Nonetheless, perhaps this time around Wenger is going to get his tactics right and should he bring in the reinforcements and the experience that the team currently lack, then the Gunners might just storm over http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749 and Europe this coming season.
That is of course more easily said, than done and now it is going to be a wait for another couple of months to see just who the manager is going to bring into the Emirates.
