Premier League gossip, Beckham to Tottenham? Wenger wants Villa in for Barton, Dzeko to arrive tomorrow
One of the most confusing transfer sagas of the winter break just happened to get a whole lot more confusing.
It was earlier believed that David Beckham’s proposed move to Tottenham was off for good. However, it now seems that the player is flying into White Hart Lane for a medical test.
It is still unclear as to what the medical is for, with the player and Harry Redknapp claiming it’s to determine if he can train with the squad. However, since when did they start taking medicals to determine if a player could train with a squad?
There seems to be a drastic change in opinions of the manager at the other end of North London as well. It seems as if Arsene Wenger is finally looking to bring in a new player or two. The manager, who has often been rather selfish with his cheque book,
is looking to finally spend some of the team’s cash to bring in a defender or two.
