 Premier League gossip – Liverpool
One of the most shocking news’s to emerge today is that Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a potential move for Ajax striker Luis Suarez.
The Uruguayan international, who is currently 23 years old and is valued by Ajax at twenty eight million pounds, might be allowed to leave for a whole lot less. According to most experts, if Liverpool play their cards right then they could sign the player
for as much as fifteen million pounds, since the Dutch club is undergoing a huge financial crunch.
Tottenham are reported to be the only other team who have shown any interest in the player, but the fact that their staff has stated that he does not suit their style of play, means that they might not really follow up their interest in the player.
On the other hand, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 were reported to be leading the race to sign Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. However, it now seems like Manchester United might swoop in at the last moment to sign the player.
It has been reported that United have grown their interest in the 17-year-old Southampton player, who has gone on to produce some highly impressive displays on the pitch. In fact Ferguson was spotted watching the player perform in his latest outing for the
team. The manager will be able to get a closer look at the player when United take on Southampton in their next round of the FA Cup.
However, if Ferguson can have his way, then Liverpool’s problems would grow even bigger as they would lose out on a player that they thought they were about to sign.
Lastly, it seems like Charlie Adam won’t be heading to Liverpool after all. Ian Holloway the manager at Blackpool has gone on to admit that he was well aware of the fact that he would receive offers for his star midfielder; however he has deemed Liverpool
not the place he wants to see Adam play at. The manager went on to say that he would rather sell his captain to a team in the top five or six of the league, with United being the dream destination for Adam to head out to.
