Fernando Torres, Yossi Benayoun, Glen Johnson, Daniel Agger, Fabio Aurelio, Martin Kelly and Nabil El Zhar are all still out, but Steven Gerrard is expected to start after returning from injury at Wolves in midweek. Forward David Ngog is pushing for a place after coming on in that game, and Sotirios Krygiakos is once again expected to start after his recent good form.
