Premier Shaw to make the most out of the Ursulas Hen Party Open 525
The two-year-old Premier Shaw qualifies as the favourite for the Ursulas Hen Party Open 525 which will be raced over 525 yards flat on Saturday, 14th July, 2012. The highly talented line-up of six comprises of Premier Shaw, Town Ruffian, Barrack
Ruso, Waltzing Canary, Lodgefield Quest and Beany Tunes.
The two-year-old black dog won the career debut on 7th September, 2011 at the Shelbourne Park by timing the 525 yards track distance in 29.47 seconds. He defeated the runner-up of the race, Avalon Dragon, by three lengths.
Three failures during the previous season and then three in during the new season compelled the trainer, Walsh, to drill Premier Fantasy’s son over 350 yards at the Shelbourne Park on 13th June, 2012. The two-year-old raced over the distance in
18.95 seconds.
He then finished third in the Grade A1 Summer BBQ Season A1 525 on 21st June, 2012 at the Shelbourne Park after racing for 30.56 seconds.
The race was won by the favourite entry, Rockburst Saint, who reached the other end of the wire in 29.60 seconds. Finishing the race the closest after racing for 29.76 seconds was, Winetavern Ringo.
The two-year-old out of b***h, Another Issue, finally won a race on 28th June, 2012 in the Grade A2 Night Of The Stars A2 525 at the Shelbourne Park. Premier Shaw soon ran clear and clocked the track distance in 28.84 seconds after leashing out
from the first gate.
The joint favourite, Rally On Diva, settled as the runner-up after racing for 28.96 seconds.
His last attempt till yet was in the Sis Open 525 on 4th July, 2012 at the Shelbourne Park. The two-year-old ended second after shooting off confidently from the fourth stall and then made the most of every chance to lead, concluding the race
in 28.96 seconds.
The winner, Tyrur Blanche, got hold of the race by taking off well from the third gate, and then was the first one to lead, refusing to delegate the leadership to any of the contestants other on the lot. He won in 28.68 seconds by the margin of 3 ½ lengths.
