Premier league News: Bolton Wanderers, Chelsea, Everton

BOLTON WANDERERS: Bolton Wanderers midfielder Joey O'Brien has expressed his desperation to just play football following his fears that his career may well be over, owing to injuries. The midfielder has faced almost two years on the sidelines owing
to successive injuries, one of which led to doctors removing part of his kneecap. O’Brien last played for Bolton back in October 2008 against Blackburn Rovers in a 0-0 stale mate. However, Joey is now fully fit and hopes for a possible loan move in order to
get some first team action.
"I have spoken to the manager and it's an option - but it's whether a club wants me or not. We will have to wait and see. I have not been involved in the first-team at the moment and have been playing reserve-team football, so it's a step up to be playing
competitive football in the Championship. The last two years have been pretty grim, but if someone had told me a year ago I would have to go out on loan to play football, I would have snapped their hand off because it didn't look like I would ever play again”,
claimed the 24 year old midfielder.
O’Brien added that there have been some dark days on his road to recovery and his first surgery didn’t come out as expected. The doctor had given their word after the second surgery that they may be no outcome, as they had taken out a piece of his kneecap.
Joey agreed that he still had a long way to go to his full recovery but the only way to get there quickly is by playing match minutes.
CHELSEA: Premier league Champions goalkeeper Petr Cech is confident that his side can finally lift the Champions league trophy this season. The Blues looked strong as ever last season but lost out to eventual Champions Inter Milan in the
Round of 16. Former manager Jose Mourinho guided the Italian giants to a historic victory but Cech claims that this season may well be theirs.
Maintaining a 100% record thus far this season, Cech claimed that last season Chelsea won the domestic double but couldn’t do well in the Champions league. Over the past few seasons, Chelsea has always made it into the semi finals and once the final but
the entire squad believes that this season may be the one that would end their long wait for the Cup.
Cech pointed out that every day, the entire team works hard on the training ground, which includes the manager and all the supporting staff. Chelsea has always enjoyed top quality in the side and enjoy a great team spirit. The goalkeeper stated that this
was only the start and there were a lot of good things in store for the opponents.
EVERTON: The Football Association of England has charged manager David Moyes and assistant coach Steve Round with improper conduct, owing to their confrontations with referee Martin Atkinson at Goodison Park following the match. Both of
them were seen racing to the pitch to confront the official in Everton’s shock 3-3 draw against Manchester United. The FA has thus decided to take action against Moyes and have confirmed that the Everton boss would be facing sanction under new disciplinary
news.
The Football Association have charged David Moyes and his assistant Steve Round with improper conduct following their post-match confrontation with referee Martin Atkinson at Goodison Park on Saturday. The pair raced onto the pitch to confront the match
officials after their side's 3-3 draw against "Everton manager David Moyes and assistant manager Steve Round have both been charged with improper conduct.
The charges relate to Moyes' and Round's conduct towards referee Martin Atkinson on the pitch following the final whistle at Everton's home match against Manchester United on 11th September. Under the FA's new fast-track procedures, Moyes and Round have
until Thursday, 16th September to respond to the charges and have both been offered a standard sanction of an £8,000 fine should they accept the charge. If either party denies the charge, the case will be heard by a regulatory commission within 10 working
days." , claimed an official statement issued by the FA on Monday.
