and take a more positive approach.
BOLTON WANDERERS
Bolton midfielder, Adam Bogdan has admitted that he is not at all bothered by the comments regarding his appearances. Owing to his ginger hair and bright orange kit, many of the Southampton fans dubbed him as “Wotsit”.
"When the Southampton supporters were shouting "Wotsit" at me I didn't even know what one was. They told me after the game what one was and that people in England they find it very funny. My hair has always been this colour so people always say stuff but
I've had it all through my life. I prefer being called Adam but I don't mind if the lads have a joke. I don't care if supporters at away games say anything”, claimed the Hungarian.
CHELSEA
Manchester City defender, Kolo Toure pointed out that his Ivory Coast team-mate Didier Drogba would be the biggest goal scoring threat in their Saturday’s clash against Chelsea at the City of Manchester Stadium. The player claimed that Drogba was a talented
goal scorer and all the player had on his mind was to score goals. Toure stated that this season, Drogba has added diversity to his game as he seemed to have passed the ball well and has managed some good assists. That has transformed Drogba into an all round
performer and Toure insisted that Drogba has developed with age.
The centre back continued that he had to change his overall game and needed to work together as a team, which is really good for the player’s overall development. Having played with the hit man in their international outfit, Toure claimed that Drogba has
always been difficult to play against owing to his brute physical strength.
“He's playing so well and with all these assists, he seems to have improved his style of playing. At the moment, I'd say he's on fire. So we're going to have to defend really well as a team to stop him. We're going to have to be really strong on Saturday",
claimed Manchester City centre back.
EVERTON
Everton Assistant manager Steve Round has claimed that the main reason behind Everton’s poor form is the unavailability of left back Phil Neville. The much experienced former Manchester United player has not been able to feature in the squad since the side’s
first day defeat to Blackburn Rovers owing to a foot concern. The manager stated that he doesn’t have the words to describe Neville’s impact and is the sort of player who gets the team together and there always such a player present in each side.
Round added that Neville was the inspiration of the side and he’s not only a leader on the pitch but also off it and having such a legend in the training camps and at the club is just fantastic. The assistant manager stated that Neville’s leadership quality
and experience is priceless and is a fantastic player. Round confirmed that Phil has passed his fitness test and would be available for selection. The assistant player thus added that it would be only a matter of time to have Neville back in the ranks and
the player would lead the team with example.
