Premier league rugby, is the system wrong? Why get the most points and then still lose if you fail in the play

whats the point in having a popint system at all? Its like a big knockout competition

  1. Apparantly it is not. Only the Magner's League and the Japanese League are the ones who do not have play offs.

    In my humble opinion it is extremely bad. You can play consistently well all season (as Gloucester have for the past two), come top of the league and then have one off day and lose it all (to Leicester twice in Gloucester's case.)

    If you come top of the league you should be outright winners. And maybe have the play offs as just showcase matches, an extra for the fans.
