There are several cases of premontions, which warn the unsuspecting persons of lurking danger and grave mishaps, but as we are busy with our daily problems and challenges we miss out these warning messages, let me tell you an example, there were passengers who did not board a train for reasons beyond explanation and the train unfortunately drowned in a river after a bridge collapsed, killing hundreds of passengers, then came out these statements which were also be true ,as most of them had last minute cancellations owing to incidents perhaps insighted to stop them from boarding the ill fated train,so definately there could be an unexplained phenomenon behind this !

  1. I can't disagree more. Join us in the 21st century.

  2. I don't know... but I do get that feeling of deja vu every once in a while. At that exact moment I feel like I am living something that I dreamed... I can't explain it. All I know is, intuition is a powerful thing.

  3. I had a premonition when I was 11 that our new puppy was going to die by electrocution, so I went around the house and put all the electrical cords and such out of her reach. Then while I was at Girl Guides, she bit the cord of the lawnmower while my dad was mowing the lawn, and she died.

Having a premonition does not mean you can prevent what is going to happen.

  4. No doubt about it! I´ve  had visions of immiediate danger, premonitions and dreams since I was a teen. Not like saving the world but keep me safe all the time...But I was kind of shy not very talkative (not now but still have those dreams)...more receptive, maybe that´s why..

  5. refer wikipedia

  6. I believe in dvine revelation. There are skeptics that say that people who see the future are just very smart thinkers that know how things will turn out as if the universe was one giant chemical equation.

  7. Well first, a train drowned?? Yes I believe in premonitions but not in drowning trains. lol

  8. we come across reguarly about the warnings, but every one donot take much care about them.

we cannot imagine the thing tat it is pre warning. It is beyond our imagination.

Only those who has sixth sence can only predict them

  9. Absolutely, I have many of these experiences though out my life and have also had personal experiences with other people who were saved by them.

  10. Apart from whatever humans may keep claiming there are several areas left to explore and may remain as this as the more we find takes us to a point where we again find immense possibilities further. Guess this one is a part of the many left unanswered and may not find an easy answer.

  11. At the risk of sounding cuckoo, I agree with you in saying premonitions happen.  This is because since I was 6 years old, I've been getting them.  As I get older, they are fewer and far between, but, yes all my premontions have become true

PS: I'm Catholic, Christian and I don't practice magic.

  12. Many things happen to us throughout our lives and as humans we are always trying to guess what will happen next.  By sheer numbers, some of us are going to seem more prescient than others.  But it is just the wonder of the human brain and the law of large numbers.

If you won the lottery, would you conclude that you have "magical lottery winning powers" because winning the lottery is so unlikely?

  13. i like a few of you have the occasional 'moment of clarity' i used to ignore it but have come to accept them as welcome and almost guiding. i have even gone as far as ringing friends and telling them to wait a couple of minutes before leaving in cars. i'll frequently stop and retie my shoelace. even if its just for 5 second, cos i know i shouldn't be in a particular place at a certain time. you may say wat kind of weed are you smoking matey? but i can tell you it was more frequent when i smoked pot. not cos your wacked out. but cos it changes the chemical make up of our brains. we  use such a small percentage of the grey matter that i begs the question? whats the rest of it for? why do we have the potential for mental disorders. how remarkable is it that people can have split personalities, the organisational ability alone, to lead two seperate lives if phenominal.

  14. Most people do have premonitions.  It could possibly be that the human brain's subconscious is capable of calculating at an incredible speed, and can pick up clues that our conscious, much slower thought processes do not put into actual words.  However, the warning, or hunch, is still received by the conscious mind.

  15. Yes, people do experience various kinds of sensing danger and "premonitions" but it should be noted that no two people experience this in exactly the same way. Even though we are all using the same ability, it manifests in each of us differently and under different circumstances due to unique mind structures and ways of thinking.

I too have experienced these premonitions, but never in a big way. Small things, like when I was skiing once and I really didn't want to go to a certain part of the mountain, though I couldn't decide why not, so I stayed and it turned out the weather was terrible and it was better not to go.

Small things, but if I were in real danger, I believe I would experience a very powerful feeling of warning.
