Prep for new snowboard?

I just got a new K2 snowboard. Do i need to wax or do anyy other prep before I use it?

Almost all snowboards that you buy new come factory waxed so you will probally be fine.   Feel it and look at it. Does it look like it has wax on it?? If you think even a little that it looks like its got a bit of wax on it then your set. IF not stop at the snowboard shop when you go shredding and grab a cheap stick of rub  on wax.
