Preparing, making Elephant ears, and Funnelcake?

can i make and prepare these 2 batters ahead of tI'me, im making them both on friday and was wondering if the batter and dough can be made up now and used then?

No longer then it takes to make some batter I would wait. It would be much better fresh.

Well since today is Monday here - I would definately wait a couple of more days til you make it.

Freshness is what counts. AND YOUR name is on it!

I wouldn't because of the baking powder or baking soda in it.   Unlike yeast which takes a while to make your bread raise, baking power and soda have a short life span to make the bread (quick bread or batter) raise.
