Preparing for an interview for a Volunteer job opportunity?

Next week I have an interview for a Volunteer job opportunity. I am very interested in this opportunity.

I would like to know generally how I should prepare for it and also the do's and don'ts of volunteer job interviews (as opposed to paid job interviews); what can/can't I ask?, what questions should I be able to answer?...etc.

Thanks

  1. You should treat it similar to a paid job interview.

The don'ts are fidgeting and not speaking clearly.

The do's are to make yourself comfortable and just be yourself.

I wish you the best of luck on the interview and hope you get the volunteer job opportunity!

  2. You have to treat it like a "real" job interview so that they know you're really interested.  Ask the normal questions that you would ask about a paid job except the obvious one is not to ask how much the job pays !
