Preparing form for a mechanic's lien bond in CA?

I work for a a company that received a lien on a project we did in CA, but we are based in another state. We would like to bond over the lien, but are unfamiliar on what actions to take since we have not had to do so in years. Is there a form to use, or general letter that would be generated by a lawyer and submitted to our bonding company? Does the lawyer have to be out of CA? or can they be from our corporate offices state?

They can be from any state. Just ask them if they are familiar with the lien bond in California.
