Preparing white perch?

Question

I have some whole white perch that I would like to prepare for dinner. What are some ways I can prepare it? My MIL fried it whole and it was very yummy but how can you fry the fish whole?

You can certainly fry the fish whole if you don't want to bother filleting them out.  Another nice approach with small whole fish is steaming.  Place some ginger, garlic and lemon grass in the stomach cavity, a dash of soy on the outside skin and steam until done.  Remove aromatics and serve with jasmine rice.
