Question:

Prepping my Accord, what to use to impress?

Heya, I own a 2000 Honda Accord LX V6 4 door, and currently have:

1. 5-spoke chrome rims

2. Saleen Style Custom Spoiler

3. LED under body lights (green)

I also have a body kit (hasn't been added on yet) that is to soon get paint hopefully in August, plus the car itself is getting a new paint job (black).

My first question is: Besides what i've said, what are some other features I can add to impress others?

My second question: I know a muffler is a huge feature, but I'm looking for a deep sound, where can I find one for a dual exhaust?

Plus can you give me a estimate plz?

Thank you!!

  2. I must have missed something  here you are making your car look like everyone else and you expect to impress  people buy showing them how immature you are. I would think that by showing them that you do not follow blindly like a sheep would impress them more.

  3. dont worry about impressing other people!!!

    get the look you want.

sounds ok so far, but you dont wanna over-do it.

then people will laugh at you.

try some nice looking aftermarket headlights and taillights.

  4. A 2000 Honda Accord LX Sedan isn't really gonna impress many people, instead you'll probably get laughs by most people. I'm not trynna be messed up here, just the truth. I'm not a Honda hater or anything, quite the opposite, i own 3 of them, great cars and impress people if done right.

Putting on a body kit, custom spoiler, LED underbody and exhaust on a sedan will look pretty funny to most people. Real tuners will laugh at you for that one too, trust me. My buddy has on 01 Accord Sedan, he decided to go with LED underbody, spoiler and body kit with twin exhaust (i think it was like 4" tips on either side) he also had these awful clear tail lights and these foglights up front as well as decals on the side. and he rolled up at a Honda meet one day with me and got pretty much nothing but laughs.

After that he just stripped the whole car down and then built it really nice, he just lowered it, added some nice wheels and a subtle lip kit with the factory spoiler and factory tail lights, looked okay after that.

So basically, if you want to "impress" people, don't be putting on Body kits, LED underbody kits or Saleen Style Spoilers and huge exhausts on an Accord. Do all that and you'll be labeled as another "ricer", which is a name you don't wanna have, it will just get you laughs and people shaking their heads.

But seriously, auto modding is all about the driver. Who really cares what other people think? My first Honda I went all out with crazy little things that would definitely be ricer today, but i kinda grew out of that stuff really. Didn't really care what people thought about what people thought though about what i do to my cars. If your really into impressing other people though, stay away from stuff like your starting to add. 5 spoke rims are fine, but body kits and LED underbodies are kinda pushing it.

  5. if u want to impress someone dont drive a honda like every one else but other peoples opinions dont really matter including mine bc if u get a loud exhaust u have to deal with the noise everyday not other people

  6. Buy an impressive car?
