which age groups have you worked with and which age group do you like to work with best? Why? Is there a difference in pay?

  1. I work with preschool age students (3-5 year olds)  I have also worked with toddlers.  I like preschool age the best.

Pay? there isn't too much diff when it comes to what age you work with, it depends on how many units or if you get a B.A. in early child literacy.  I'm a sub and have worked 3-5 year olds primarilly; however, my temp agency says I'm qualified to sub for students 0-12 years of age and I make 10 dollars an hour before taxes

  3. I have done Family Day Care for 31 years. I care for and teach newborns to school age and beyond. My favorite age is 2. These kids are opening up to the world and are like sponges! The comedy is constant as they learn and apply language. Guess it's a personal thing. Good Luck as a preschool teacher!!! Although your bankbook will never show it, you'll be enriched every day!
