paint your hand  to put the print on paper and decorate it to look like a turkey and see if the paint falls off with water and see who makes the best

Get some Indian Corn and place it in a little bit of water (on it's side)  it will start to sprout in a few days.

Discuss Thanksgiving colors, put a celery stalk in Thanksgiving colored water. Slice it up the middle but leave it connected at the top. put one side in red, and the other in orange. Leave it for a day or two then watch how the veins in the celery turn color as it sucks up water. You can also include a discussion of plant life and harvest with this activity.
