  1. At least if they are potty trained and almost three by the time the school is starting then they can go.

  2. Two is socialization and play, maybe mom's morning out sorta thing.  Getting in line, waiting your turn, being away from mom, sitting in a circle, not taking someone else's snack, learning some songs and dances, alpahbet song, some number songs, name recognition, not beating the kid next to you over the head with your block - some kids get some things, some don't, they are very forgiven and loved and nurtured and nothing is really very mandatory.

Three is a combo of the above and pre-school.

Four, the year before kindergarten, is when most schools really expect to start focusing the children on a 'pre-school' curriculum based on learning the skills needed for successful institutional type learning.  Everything above, and more, only now it's pretty much mandatory.  Kids are expected to and nurtured to, interact more with each other, their environment, and the teacher on an intellectual level.  They should learn their shapes, alphabet, name, colors, good conflict resolution, the beginnings of a foreign language, cutting with a scissors, culture, basic geography - recognizing the earth, continents and oceans and their town, state, country and flag, basic math - there should be lots and lots of counting and beginning adding and subtracting, and I could go on all day!

Basically it starts, if it does at all, when you want it to.

    Good luck!

  3. 3 yrs old.

  4. Usually four.  A child has to be potty trained before going to any preschool.

  5. 1-5 not higher than 6 yrs old

  6. Preschool is 3-5 yrs. There are also centers that have Early Pre-K (2-3yrs).

  7. it's typically age 3. However, I am an assistant at a preschool and we have two 2 year olds. They mainly come for "daycare" It just depends on the place.

  8. My son had to be 3 AND potty trained.  Some places will take them earlier.

    Good luck!

  9. usually at age of 4 but it's better if you enroll him at age of 3

the younger the better becausehe will finish his studies early
