Preschool graduation gift ideas needed for my son--?

My son will be having a program at his preschool this week for the children that will be entering Kindergarten in the fall. I want to get him something but don't know what. I didn't want to just get him a toy or something like that. I would like for it to be something with meaning later in life he can look back at. Any Ideas on what?

give him something he always wanted or a REAL neckless or REAL ring something that he can keep forever so he'll never fo get you.
