  1. if your in the UK the early learning centre would be a good place to look

  2. Do you mean the "Jolly Phonics", where, for instance, the "s" sound has the picture of a snake and u get to do an action as well as having the picture in front of the child?

I have used a book called "The Phonics Handbook" by Sue Lloyd, this has all the pictures, actions, letter shapes for writing, etc

Have a look at google books and type "jolly phonics", it comes up with some sample pages i think (or maybe the whole book), I've only had a quick look but if you can't see it on the net you'll probably be able to buy it from amazon.

  3. Children will have more fun with hands on learning using sand, playdough or paint to form letters. All schools have different names to teach children letters so unless you know the right language the school use I wouldn't teach your child the letters. There is no harm in teaching your child how to write their own name and how letters are the same. Environment print is also good for this age eg. Asda, McDonald's the children can say this word as if reading it. Getting the child to make print pictures with  food labels in the house. Good luck.

  4. Google has loads

  5. Just read to the little ones. Everyone likes a book read to them. Also, let them pick the book. You might be reading the same book over and over again, but they will like it

  6. Jolly Phonics is good, but don't panic if your child doesn't catch on yet.  Preschool is a bit early for worksheets.  Read aloud and play around with rhymes and alliteration--that is a much more age-appropriate activity and will help your child immensely when school begins.

  7. If you go to www.jollylearning.co.uk they have loads of phonic things ranging from the book that taechers get the work sheets out of to actual work books for children to do theres videos posters parent/teachers guides finger phonic books.......... iv bought loads of things off it and my little girl loves doing the work books, they stay with her other drawing things and she does them when she wants which alot of the time shel sit with one and do it while she watches tv.xx

  8. Preschool worksheets?  why not just read books with your pre schooler and leave the education stuff to the teachers, there's enough academic pressure on kids as it is.
