  2. There are many read aloud books for preschoolers about manners and etiquitte, maybe you could use a theme from a book or combine some. Also, babycenter.com has a wealth of info on it. try that too if you like. There are bulletin boards and it goes up into elem age.

  3. etiquette@netmanners.com

  4. there is a manners book and DVD from Nick Jr.  it is done by "The Backyardigans"

  5. try www.preschoolrainbow.org

that site is amazing! SOOOO many ativities and songs to pock from organized into themes

  6. Try making up songs for manners, like "Please and Thank You" and stuff. It doesn't even matter if the song sounds good, or if you use the same melody for many different themes. The kids will love it and will sing it themselves.

Also, maybe a simon says type of game could work, only use manners and ettiquite themes. Hope this helps!

  7. the best way to teach a preschooler about manners, is too always make sure you use manners yourself. Ie..please pass me the book. or..with a group of children when they are cooperating et..talk about it.."oh look John is passing you the car..that was very thoughtful of you John..thankyou"

In other words, it's the every day things that matter the most to guide them..not a basic theme. As others have said, there are some great books about it..Dinofours has some..and Brearstien bears..many songs avaible you can play ...like barney's Please and thankyou it's the magic word....

you could do an impropt puppet paly.with one puppet being rude and pushy to another puppet..let's say about a toy and grabbing it from him...then the other puppet says he is not playing with him, ..things like that...then the kids as a group could suggest differnt ways for the grouchy puppet to ask about using the toy next...
