Is it easy to get prescribed xanax for depression?

It'd be nice to have around...

  1. Well you have to tell & "prove" to your DR that you are anxious or something & under stress from work, school, family, etc. I manage to get it but I suffer from OCD (Obsessive compulsive), BPD, (Borderline Personality Disorder, HPD (Histrionic Personality Disorder),  insomnia, anxiety & depression.

Not really, it is a controlled substance and people use it recreationally, so those two things make it difficult for doctors to prescribe, the doctor has to be able to trust you and know that you have no history of substance abuse...my best advice would be honest with him and not lie to try to try to get the script...not only is being honest the bets way to get the best care, but your relationship with him matters in your treatment.  

  3. First of all, Xanax is not prescribed for depression.  It's to help with anxiety disorders.  I hate to tell you that, because it will only assist you in getting a prescription.

    Second of all, Xanax is extremely addictive and a pain in the butt to kick, so be careful.

    I don't have a "third of all", because the first two state my point nicely.
