I bought a pair of prescription glasses, but now have decided I'm not a big fan of the frames I chose...is it possible to get this lens taken out and put into other frames? Or is it too late now? I dont mind if there is an extra (small) cost

  1. each frame has a different shape and size (typically) so you would probably have to order new frames. good luck!

  2. um depends on were you got the lenses and the frame. If you got it at certain place they mey have a lenses sizer. So you can get them to fit but if it was liek at wal mart they have to send them out and get them trimmed to size. But yes they can be fitted to new frames.

  3. Sometimes they can do this. Obviously the new frames will need to be the same shape or smaller (of course, as they can't make the lenses bigger) and, in the process of re-cutting the lenses, they need to make sure that when the lenses are in the new frames, you are still looking through the center of each lens.
